Salvation Army

CHJC volunteered with the Salvation Army this year at the Angel Tree Warehouse.

Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program offers assistance for children from low-income families. Free gifts, toys, clothing, and much more are provided for disadvantaged children that range in age from infant to age 12. Seniors citizens who are 60 years and older can also receive help from the free.

33rd Annual Alabama Coastal Cleanup

CHJC volunteered at Alabama's Annual Coastal Cleanup this year for their 33rd year.

Over 100,000 volunteers have assisted in this event since Alabama joined the International Coastal Cleanup in 1987. They are grateful to the many helping hands and hearts who have pitched in to benefit our priceless natural resources.

Wreaths Across America

CHJC volunteered with Wreaths Across America at Mobile Memorial Gardens this year to help lay wreaths on veteran's graves.

Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, the mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 2,100 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.
